Guided Trips to the Sierra Nevada & Worldwide!

SMG Gear Recommendations!

This is NOT a gear list for any specific trip!

Note: Not every item on this list is the favorite of all of our guides and it is not the bible of gear. It also may be out of date and you shouldn't expect to see our guides with each of these items. It is just meant to be a helpful guide. Feel free to call the office with any questions you might have (877) 423-2546.

Neils Choices:

Skis: K2 Mt. Bakers
Boots: Garmont Megaride and Garmont Radium. Neil says to Radiummake sure your backcountry boot has a vibram sole, custom moldable liners, a custom footbed, and that they are dynafit compatable.
Bindings: Fritchi Freerides for Slackcountry skiing (and powder days) and Dynafit TLT Speed Classics for touring.
