Join us this summer to get your kids climbing the rocks instead of your walls! For 6 weeks, our highly trained, AMGA (American Mountain Guides Association) guides will teach your kids about rock climbing and bouldering. We are happy to provide everything your child will need including harnesses, helmets, climbing shoes and chalk bags. We will visit several areas around Mammoth and June Lake to expose your children to different rock types, and therefore, the different ways to climb. We will provide snacks and drinks for each day. In addition to a great experience the kids will get a shirt to prove that they made it to the top! Nothing is better for kids then fresh air, exercise, and a challenge!
As
the summer comes to an end I reflect on some wonderful times. One of
which was Jordyn's time with the Sierra Scramblers. The experience was
an exceptional one. She loved all of it and frequently talks about
rock climbing. Thank you for the supportive, compassionate and patient
approach you provided. We look forward to climbing with you again and
would like to be scholarship sponsors next year as well. Many, many
