Learn how to set your own anchors.

Rock Climbing Protection and Anchors Course
Our protection and anchors course is perfect for anyone that has been climbing in a gym, with experienced climbers, or is interested in building their own anchors for top roping outdoors. We cover the subtleties of placing, removing, and evaluating artificial and natural gear. Including cams, nuts, hexes, horns, pinches, chicken heads, and fixed gear. Then, we'll examine the many different options for constructing both top rope and multi-pitch anchors. We will take into account the principles of redundancy, equalization, and non-extending systems. This course will give you the tools to build anchors on your own. This is a great follow up courses to our Discover Rock Climbing course.
