Meet your guide for breakfast in the town of Mammoth Lakes, CA for breakfast. Check that everyone is prepared with the proper gear for the day and head out to the backcountry for in the field training. We teach uphil skil techniques to increase your safety, efficiency and comfort for proper stride, pacing, tracksetting, routefinding, trail-breaking, kick-turns, and more. Downhill instruction includes tips for efficient transitions, terrain analysis, and skiing in backcountry snow with a pack. |

Meet in the morning to plan a full-day backcountry tour, and make it happen, applying new terrain travel skills. |
