Summer 2009! The Wrangell-St Elias National Park is a 13-million acres of pure wilderness. Situated between the Wrangell Range and the University Range is the dramtic cleft of the Chitistone Canyon. We fly in on a bush plane, trek up through the canyon to Skolai Pass and the headwaters of the Nizina River, then raft back down.
